Active Stylus Adoption In Education Market Ramping
Goodix joined the Universal Stylus Initiative (USI) in 2016 to bring even more diversity to it product line by embedding the USI 1.0 specification in products targeting, initially, the education market. The education segment is a high-volume stylus user market that requires an active stylus with a rich feature set. Launched in 2015, Universal Stylus Initiative (USI) is an international not-for-profit technology trade association whose mission is to define industry-wide standards for interoperable communication between an active stylus and touch-enabled devices such as phones, tablets, and computing and entertainment platforms.
